Easy French Toast

1/2 Loaf of sliced Potato Bread

Dash of nutmeg
Cooking Oil
Hot strawberry sauce (see below) or maple syrup.

  1. Heat up a frying pan. Add a teaspoon of oil to the pan.
  2. Fill a shallow bowl with eggnog. Add a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg if the eggnog is not flavorable enough.
  3. Dip a slice of potato bread into the eggnog. Cover both sides.
  4. Fry the eggnog-covered bread slice on both sides.
  5. Repeat dipping and frying until all the eggnog or all the bread is gone.
  6. Serve with hot strawberry sauce or maple syrup.

Easy Strawberry Sauce

1 pint of strawberries
1/2 cup sugar

  1. Cut up strawberries, removing tops.
  2. Place cut strawberries in a bowl.
  3. Cover strawberries with sugar. Cover the bowl and sit overnight in the fridge.
  4. Bring entire contents of bowl (strawberries, sugar and strawberry juice) to a boil then switch to low heat for 10-15 minutes. Serve hot immediately or simmer until ready to serve.

NOTE: I usually use a glass corning or pyrex ware bowl for sugaring the strawberries. This bowl can then be directly placed on the stove for heating the sauce.

Some information about KANGA

Description: Brown and white, with a pouch in the front.

General Traits: Only female character in the Forest. Typically "motherly" in nature. Nurturing, practical, generally uninterested in intellectual pursuits or poetry -- but not lacking in wit or humor in dealing with an unexpected situation (such as Piglet's substitution for Roo).

Special Traits: The fastest runner (or rather jumper) in the Forest (save perhaps for Tigger). Good-natured, on good terms with all the other Forest residents. Senses Tigger needs as much care as her own Roo, and adopts him accordingly.

Famous lines: "If you go on making faces like Piglet's, you will grow up to look like Piglet -- and then think how sorry you will be." "Well! Fancy that! Fancy my making a mistake like that." "Are you sure you're all right, Roo dear?"
